I Saloni WorldWide Moscow

After the successful 2011 edition, which attracted around 36,000 professionals (architects, interior designers, buyers, and general contractors, +15% compared with the previous year) not just from Russia but increasingly from parts of the former Soviet Union, the upcoming Saloni WorldWide Moscow will take place from 10th to 13th October in Pavilion 2 at Moscow’s Crocus Expo.

With roughly four hundred exhibitors, both Italian and foreign, ranged over 30% more net exhibition space than the previous edition, the Saloni WorldWide Moscow exceeds all expectations as a benchmark for interior concepts. The advertising slogan for this 8th edition, “the best that design has to offer”, refers to the superlative quality of the goods on offer – from trend-setting pieces to modern designs to classic furniture. The array of displayed products is also remarkably wide-ranging - from furnishings to upholstereds furniture , from lighting appliances to kitchens, office , furnishing accessories, bathroom , textiles, furnishing components and accessories for furnishing products.

As ever, the strictly trade fair will be flanked by the 8th edition of SaloneSatellite WorldWide Moscow, showcasing the best of young creativity in Russia and the countries in its geopolitical basin.

The Master Classes will also be held as part of the Saloni WorldWide Moscow programme, led by key figures in the Italian design world – the architects Flavio Albanese, Rodolfo Dordoni and Roberto Peregalli/Laura Sartori Rimini of Studio Peregalli  – who will “chat” to journalist and design critic Olga Kosyreva, about traditional and pertinent aspects of design activity and creativity with the benefit and hindsight of their considerable experience.
